You can tell from the intensity of the lights on the ground that its a long exposure photo and would look nothing like that when it actually happened.

Indeed, and as a directed energy weapon it'd be shedding a lot of power as scattered visible light if it looked like that :)

It'd have to be ionising the low-level atmosphere - which would be kind of self-defeating in a directed energy weapon.

I don't think this one is the directed energy version.Certainly optical tricks afoot.

this sort of thing could quite easily be done by positioning several DE-type satellites above the earth, and making use of wave modulation(like doppler effect, but projected down to earth to provide 3D) to make the holographic image.

torsion field and high-power microwave weapon are a different ball-game.

torsion field ones are like tractor beams....however they might not just be designed to pull objects in,they could hypothetically be used to throw objects(like enemy aircraft and missles) quite violently off course.

Do you actually understand the physics of HAARP ? How much energy (as opposed to power) is involved ?

If they "HAARP'd Haiti" it might do some mischief to a few electronic devices. That's about it.

It wouldn't be done by HAARP, more his "earthquake machine" or at least the principle behind it. I'm not saying this was used in Haiti or ever used for that matter, just that in theory it is possible. If what Tesla said about being able to create them using his method is complete ******** then I'm all ears. I don't pretend to be an expert in this. However when I see others talking rubbish about another subject I do know very well, I resist the temptation to score easy points and feed my ego by belittling others. I hope you can do the same. ;)

I'd stop digging if I were you.

and as we know all those 'news reports' about swine flu and globa warming were soooo accurate

As long as we keep using mobile phones heavily, we don't need any new weapons. And the 'news reports' are strangely quiet on this one (too much revenue comes from mobile phone companies??).

Great link as usual.

Im sure the usual suspects will wade in to report that phones must be safe or the government mafia wouldn't allow them.

i likes a good conspiracy before bedtime, but this is just off the scale

Say what you will, but a military takeover of Haiti by the US has only begun:

Mixed welcome for US troops: http://cnn.com/video/?/video/international/2010/01/20/bs.penhaul.haiti.us.troops.cnn

US Troops arrive in Haiti: http://cnn.com/video/?/video/world/2010/01/19/penhaul.us.troops.arrival.cnn

US Forces in Haiti to Grow to 20,000

Just like President Hoover in Dec 1929 there are rumours that they plan or have already declared martial law. Who knows what's really going on there?:

Media is Expelled from Haitian Airport

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had demanded the imposition of the emergency decree during her visit to Haiti on Saturday. “The decree would give the government an enormous amount of authority, which in practice they would delegate to us,” Clinton declared.

Soldiers in Haiti told to stop handing out food

By Jim Michaels - USA TODAY

Posted : Wednesday Jan 20, 2010 21:40:25 EST

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti — Food handouts were shut off Tuesday to thousands of people at a tent city here when the main U.S. aid agency said the Army should not be distributing the packages.

It was not known whether the action reflected a high-level policy decision at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) or confusion in a city where dozens of entities are involved in aid efforts.

Very interesting report from Democracy Now about the Haiti/USA political relationship http://i2.democracynow.org/2010/1/20/journalist_kim_ives_on_how_decades

and this report speaking to a foreign doctor suggesting that the hype about unrest is a cover for the USA to occupy Haiti http://i2.democracynow.org/2010/1/20/devastated_port_au_prince_hospital_struggles

Nothing is ever simple is it.

Nope. It never is. But then, should we be surprised? Just look at the levels of intrigued and poliics in a large office...why would governments, staffed by humans too, be any different. Why would they leave opportunities go to waste?

Post it up then big man. Links please.

I think you are asking the wrong person. I am not at the cutting edge of history. However, just because you have not read about it in your 1991 history for nutters text book, do not dismiss it as rubbish.

Haiti is full of oil, say Ginette and Daniel Mathurin, [French Original], Radio Metropole, Jan 28, 2008

Scientists and Ginette Daniel Mathurin indicate that under Haitian soil is rich in oil and fuel fossible have already been listed by foreign specialists and Haiti. "We have identified 20 sites Oil, 'Daniel Mathurin stating that 5 of them are considered of great importance by specialists and politicians.

The Central Plateau, including the region of Thomonde, the plain of the cul-de-sac and the bay of Port-au-Prince are full of hydrocarbons, "he said adding that the oil reserves of Haiti are more important than those of Venezuela . "An Olympic pool compared to a glass of water that is the comparison to illustrate the importance of oil Haitian compared with those of Venezuela," he explains.

Venezuela is one of the world's largest producers of oil.

Daniel Mathurin investigations revealed that several previous governments have made it possible to verify the existence of these important oilfields. He recalls that a document of the Fanmi Lavalas party to power in 2004, had specified the numerous sites of oil in Haiti.

According to Daniel and Ginette Mathurin, the Lake District, with cities like Thomazeau and Cornillon, contains important oilfields.

Asked about the non-operation of those sites, Ginette Mathurin said that these deposits are declared strategic reserves of the United States of America. While citing his imcompréhension of such a situation, remember that the Caribbean is seen as the back yard of the United States.

But Daniel Mathurin And Ginette indicate that the American government had in 2005 authorized the use of strategic reserves of the United States. The door should be used by politicians to launch Haitian négiciations with American companies in the context of the exploitation of these deposits adds Daniel Mathurin.

The specialists contend that the government of Jean Claude Duvalier had verified the existence of a major oil field in the Bay of Port-au-Prince shortly before his downfall.

In addition, Daniel and Ginette Mathurin reveal that the Uranium 238 and 235 and the deposit zyconium exist in several regions including in Jacmel. The uranium is used in nuclear reactors for the production of electric energy.

Could be true...the US has proiritised military flights over aid flight, it could simply have been part of an interntaional aid effort under the UN but seems very keen to run this show itself...as of now the US has about 14,000 troops in Haiti...seems a lot? The only question would be what on earth would they want in Haiti...is this all about oil again?

One word and it had a question mark after it. Please explain how this means i am talking ********. Its ok i know you wont so apology accepted.

Cos HAARP is technologically not able to be implicated. That you even put it in the frame shows how poor your understanding is of basic science. Not that that stops you pontificating, of course

Contrite enough for you ?

More that there's been (last time I Iooked) about 12 billion US dollars spent on researching the issue and the overwhelming balance of evidence is that there's not an issue. One Youtube clip of a believer not withstanding ;)

A useful guide to whether something is only an issue in TFH land is whether Stromba piles in to support it.
