MOP
I would quite like to be on holiday with my kids somewhere warm when it happens Who knows. I'm noticing increasing numbers of people talking about trouble starting in Sept/Oct. Make of it what you will.

scottbeard
I'm noticing increasing numbers of people talking about trouble starting in Sept/Oct. Make of it what you will. Well it's already August, so that is tantamount to saying "trouble begins as soon as people get back from their holidays, and realise their company/country is in trouble"

I just had a look on Google trends and it seems that searches for "Economic Depression" have surged in the past month also. US Search. http://www.google.com/trends?q=economic+de...612736&sa=N I find Google trends to be an interesting indicator of the general mood. The mood is becoming more ominous. World Search. helenreed
MOP - that fly thing is REALLY, REALLY irritating. Firstly I sprayed the computer screen with fly spray and then got a newspaper to swat it thinking it was the real thing. I feel somewhat foolish now. Didn't affect me or anyone I know though. Just carried on as normal. No collapse, no social unrest, no nothing of any real note that effects the layman. Smart answer but fundamentally flawed.
