Obviously these are some kind of UPVC bottles.

Good point. But couldnt they simply be painted? A small extra expense/effort admittedly.

Though as for the bullet proof thing? Are they really claiming that the local thugs with, typically, AK47s and their high velocity bullets would be stopped by a few inches of sand? Is that possible???
