heather5 Posted June 6, 2009 Share Posted June 6, 2009 Hi Guys Anyone out there who knows about Hereford. I have to move in the next 6 weeks in order to take-up a new job. I don't know the area at all - I'm just purely moving because I have been offered a job - and although it's less than my current salary - have taken it as my current job is about to be outsourced - it's IT based. Anyone got any advice on where to live in Hereford based on renting? Is Hereford so big that I need to buy a bike - previously I always walked 1/2 hour to work. Or is there a good bus service? I currently rent a studio for £450 a month - with nothing extra - and no washing machine. If this isn't the right forum - please move this post to the appropriate one. Well done on the new job! Is this IT job "cow related"? Hereford is quite small, and the main industries are farming and the SAS! You can walk round town allright, but you might consider a car to get out a bit, if the countryside is to your liking! There are trains out too!
