I never feel sorry for the company only for the poor factory workers who are probably hard working people just getting by, they are always the ones getting shafted. I guess M & S was their only client or at least 75% of the work, it was inevitable.

My mum taught me the value of money because we didnt have any growing up, she had little money and managed to feed and raise 7 children while my father was constantly drunk, she did that all on her own back and yet put me through private schooling doing 3 jobs and i can never repay her. Yet I see she doesnt go over board, is careful but yet she always says, the problem today is people no longer realise the value or worth as money. Her Christmas's were she was lucky to have an orange in her stocking, yet now its child abuse these days if its not a laptop or playstation. Living a frugal life means you can be happy, you had to make do with your lot not grumble because you cant afford a plasma screen. I believe celebrity culture has a lot to do with this and the advertisers. Society has moved too fast what it was ready for, they never took it slow. So what if the little fecker doesnt get his latest gizmo, deal with it!

I think its perfectly obvious now that this government has no fecking idea what it is doing, it has clutched and grabbed at straws and failed to take the correct action years ago when it could have avoided the dire straits its in now. They are a mess, personally I miss the Fopp shops (grew too big too fast and collapsed), shame they went by the wayside. the difference between Zavvi and HMV is, you go into HMV and the guys actually have a clue and look up info and stock, in Zavvi when i asked, all i got was a shrug and told to look upstairs.

Good Riddance, I hate Zavvi with a passion, I can only hope it helps HMV survive as it is by far the better store. Zavvi was overpriced and over rated, useless shop.

As if, it would seem people forget the prime reason for a bank to make money and they will never ever do anything like this. They will force Brown out, if he gets too much of a problem.

Upper Management never ever will grasp that a managers salary is worth normally 2 to 3 workers, and too too many useless managers out there who do NOTHING. Problem is most places have mid level management to act as buffer zone between them and the workers, they never get rid of them. Its the low level workers get it screwed in the ass everytime.

Thats usual behaviour, 6 years ago i worked for a company that did the same, totally ruthless. About 200 on the office floor, Everyone had come in and one by one people were being grabbed, all staff instructed not to speak to others and people sent packing, while they were in the conference room, others came to clear out fired persons desk and then a box was handed to the person and put out the door, no thank you, no being nice, just a piss off. They sacked 50% that day, was so cold, next day i told them where to shove it, gave a months notice, really screwed them as I was the one who had all the info and skilled for this section, really screwed them over but i thought, hey , you screw me and my friends, up yours.

If she any brains and morals, she'll realise she's being set up to take the rap here and start laying into them before they use her as a scapegoat, either way she's finished, she mays as well go out with a bang. She's being hung out to dry.
