  1. There are two houses for sale right near that crash scene. http://www.oldham-chronicle.co.uk/news-fea...iver-was-banned He was a banned driver. Feckingheck he was a right crim. The bbc footage showed the houses for sale.
  2. She should look into the paperwork. This is one of the problems with flats though. Development in Failsworth - flats are between 85 -150 depending on whether they're "affordable" but all pay 90quid a month service charge, There's 100 flats at least - so 9000 a month for mowing a bit of lawn.
  3. An idly estate agent is soon a sacked one. The person at one local ea who did the tweaks on listings has ceased to do so. I'm assume they were laid off.
  4. I know of someone who got stung for 40k for new windows for flats. Compulsory to have it done too. I'm sure someone made a lovely profit from it. Who's the management done by? What do her neighbours think about it?
  5. Isn't the biggest patch of it right in the middle of the aboriginal scared land?
  6. BTL struggler has got two lodgers to support her BTL properties and is now decorating and maintaining the properties herself.
  7. I@m surprised they've not put ads in it "Sponsered by Gordon"
  8. Investment clubs. Flats in Huddersfield being a 500 a month drain on an old couple's existance. But just after all that gloom - "You can still make money if you have a niche" Martin Whatsit.
  9. Newsnight viewing figures are very low compared to those of bbc news. The sheeple won't be watching newsnight.
  10. But all the sales have been rubbish for ages. If you like shoes in the long distant past you'd wait til they had the sale and buy all the boots and shoes you wanted but couldn't afford through the year. Now all the shoe shops have a "sale" all the time. They're not high quality shoes, def not worth buying at all - all cheap and nasty. I think the sales rules changed too so basically they can call anything a sale now.
  11. I wondered if it's all structurally not right tbh - being part of a knock down section is always a risk.
  12. Was it the Moors in Spain who taxed unbelievers higher than believers?
  13. Yes right up until the point they didn't actually sell it. It's still for sale. And at a much lower than 120k price
  14. You can just imagine the joy of the person who bought it previous to get shut of it for as much as they did - only a small loss.
  15. Punish savers by locking them up for years and charging them for their prison keep.
  16. EA say resale is 120 and they think they've had an offer. HAHHAHHAH 14 Jun 2007 Maisonette 4, Penryn Street, Redruth, Cornwall TR15 2SP Flat Leasehold £69,500 03 Jan 2007 Maisonette 4, Penryn Street, Redruth, Cornwall TR15 2SP Flat Leasehold £78,50 So that's them at 69500. So someone else had already made a loss on it by then. MArtin "If they do a 100 properties, it'll probably not get better or luckier than this"
  17. On now http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-227...p;mam_disp=true REDRUTH Offers in Excess of £65,00 At auction - 69500 - Can't see date for todays show But all they've done is clear some of the junk out Season 9 Episode 2 Lucy Alexander and Martin Roberts explore properties about to be auctioned in Derbyshire, Basingstoke and Redruth, then talk to the buyers about their plans for the buildings Can't see a date for it http://www.locatetv.com/tv/homes-under-the...eason-9/4002807 Is this good news? They bought it without seeing. Stupid. And now they're unable to sell.
  18. Will councils/HA get given these properties in the UK or will they pay through the nose to bail out developers?
  19. Cynically I'd say it was a cost cutting exercise. You'll get next to nowt redundancy if you've not been there long (look up legal minimum) so weigh that up against not getting the bonus and being laid off anyway. I'd say take the bonus and look for another job ASAP. There's a formal notice of impending redundencies they're supposed to issue first - rather than just being arsey about it. If its more than just you - does this apply: BASIC POSITION It is a criminal offence for an employer to fail to notify the Secretary of State in advance if there are to be multiple redundancies within a specified period (TULRCA 1992 s.194 and see Criminal Law aspects/offences under employment legislation/redundancy - notice to DTI if multiple redundancies ).
  20. You only have to watch bbc news to see whyy. Conservatives get a massive grilling for anything they suggest whilst they just bow and scrape for the nolabour lot.
  21. Huge amount of mortgage to be paid - only 200 quid less than her income. But why doesn't her kids dad pay something towards them?
