  1. I think personally that most people, are not totally obsessed with property prices. The people I know are far more concerned about keeping safe and being sensible.
  2. Yes Where is the profit? If you buy a house and it goes up in value everything else has gone up - unless you want to sell up and live in a tent. They made a financial decision that worked out for them. Yes that is the advantage of buying a house. At the end of the mortgage term you own it and do not pay rent/mortgage. What do you expect for them to apologise to you for buying a house when they could? Should anyone who has own a house with no mortgage have to apologise. I do not agree that they should. get tax credits however.
  3. Yes they still go on about Oliver Cromwell ! When I was in Belfast it was clear that the Protestants and Catholics still do not even like each other.
  4. I think of my great grandfathers one of whom spent 5 years on destroyers in WW2 and one of whom flew bombers. That is stress and pressure. Having to stay indoors and watch TV with the central heating on is an inconvenience.
  5. No - business doing well - family happy and healthy - as soon as the pubs are open and live sport is on upwards and onwards
  6. There have been many reports that rents in London have fallen hugely. The reamoaners will still say that immigration has zero effect on the housing market.
  7. How long have you been waiting ? why did you not buy any years ago?
  8. No as long as it is shown on the CML form as an incentive it is fine. This has been going on for a decade it is not new.
