  1. Yep, I couldn't agree more, abolish the House of Lords too and while we're at, leave the ECHR, HRA, with an immediate cessation of mass immigration. We need the equivalent of a stock take to figure out how to move forward as insane levels of debt & 3rd worlders bought about by unelected bureaucrats and VI's has destroyed this country so far. Once the Tories are consigned to the bin, I hope - and its gonna get messy - that Labour make such a fkn mess of things that they too get put in the bin. Tories = indifferent, aloof posh-boys who don't have a first clue about the everyday world, (Venal, ideological, vacuous). Labour = mentally-ill idealists who don't have a clue about the everyday world, (Utopian, Devious, Captured).
  2. Its the act of submission to a totally false / dishonest pro-communist, anti-family, anti-capitalist, anti-west movement.
  3. Yep, as much as it's a given the Tories are out for the foreseeable future I can't see how Labour will hold together given they have as many if not more disparate factions to appease than the Tories to maintain power. Apropos the picture, we imported these myriad problems that have annihilated the Tory party, don't think it won't annihilate Labour in time.......
  4. Tories are absolute dog$hit for all the reasons mentioned, but the problem Labour will have is appeasing all the factions that make up their voting bloc. Of interest given recent events and the elephant in the room, is watching Starmer's Labour trying to square the demands of the likes of the LGBTIA /feminist lobby with the competing demands of the BAME / Muslim bloc who are known amongst other things for their homophobia / misogyny. Both voting blocs have been emboldened in recent years by both Labour, Tory alike and are, as far as i can see hold divergent views on matters pertaining to sex, gender, women, religion etc, yet both are required to get Labour over the line. I expect policy problems early on should Labour take power..................
  5. Have called her and that fkn Abi Hookway out on IG several times as they talk utter shite about how easy it is to purchase, change the properties legal status, convert then let. Having more than 30 years in construction I can tell you these people don't have a fkn clue. And the fact these properties are probably housing unlimited unknowns from the 3rd world, these people should be tried for treason at some point given the problems this is now causing......
  6. Deport everyone who's arrived here from elsewhere the last 27 years who doesn't work and claims benefits and housing. #massdeportationsnow
  7. Was chatting with an old customer of mine who lived through the seventies, reckons the UK has the feel of the mid seventies; wage demands, the country ever more dysfunctional with no one seemingly in control of events. So by his numbers, 4 more years of hell courtesy of the other twit no one wants (Starmer) then a true right wing ideologue perhaps? But I'm not sure they'll be anything left to improve or reform like Thatcher did plus I imagine we'll be going cap in hand to imf before then...........
  8. Hit 'expand' as I answered inside your reply point by point.
  9. I heard Morgoth describe the infinity migrants policy as human quantitative easing so yeah, we can see where the priorities of these people lie and it's goal. Yet the GDP line doesn't go up, after 25 years of this country-destroying insanity. Balkanisation is right; the fragmentation of a country into multiple smaller hostile regions along religious ethnic lines. I see only dark times ahead especially when you find out IQ is dropping across the western world. #noadultsintheroom
  10. Recessions are pretty bad, I remember the 1990's one well, family home got repo'd, parents business went under and then parents split a few years later. But what bothers me this time round is the number of people we've imported into this country who, when they don't get their way (i.e. govt handouts) or will have their benefits cut as is likely to happen going forward, will resort to ever more extreme violence and criminality. I believe there will be a collapse but not before taxes go through the roof over the next couple of years to keep the ship afloat before the towel is thrown in. Fwiw I laugh when i read here and elsewhere of a mythical soft landing to all this especially when i see recent data on mortgage defaults, company insolvencies and the absolute insanity that is the govt's borrowing figures. Just today i read Cameron wants to treat injured Palestinian's on the nhs whilst its still full steam ahead continuing to house, feed and cloth the entire 3rd world thats coming here legally and illegally. I'm prepping now for the worst, my theory being better to have it and not need it than the other way round.........
  11. Yep, sellers in my view are still in that psychological space of 'give it time' and I'll get the price I'm looking for, (one at odds with the parlous state of the economy). So many places I'm looking at / keeping tabs on have been on the mkt for nearly a year now with some on even longer. Interestingly one that caught my eye sold when new in 2008 for £250k now up for £200k but given the COVID premium (25%) and the economic collapse we're seeing the nascent stages of, I'll keep my powder dry and let the sellers sweat a little more. They'll break eventually, just a waiting game whilst reality takes hold, many of my circle exhibit quite delusional behaviour where interest rates and the wider economy are concerned, so will be buying popcorn next time I'm in Aldi. The property log plug-in has been an absolute boon in gauging who's motivated but at present I agree we still have a way to go. #sitbackandenjoythechaos
  12. So the economy has failed to grow in real terms since 2008 and yet here we are still importing a million a year to these shores, at a cost of £8million quid a day. I'm sure they'll get us out of recession with all those Uber eats and deliveroo jobs. #sarcasm
  13. Yeah I was gonna say, that's not what I'm hearing: Construction tops insolvency table with 4371 collapses last year https://www.constructionnews.co.uk/financial/administrations/construction-tops-insolvency-table-with-4371-collapses-last-year-30-01-2024/
  14. Been stockpiling supplies (food, water and diesel) for a while now including Tetley tea bags. #aheadofthecurve
  15. Thought it was just me. Yep it's not good, after hitting 'submit reply' it either deleted and takes you back to topic thread or you hit 'submit reply' nothing happens then you see your reply posted half a dozen times. I'm blaming China. #shiftyfukers
  16. Or like the landlord of my last workshop I rented, keep jacking the rent up till nobody rents it. Been vacant for over a year now.............
  17. Residential the last 6 years, when I worked with him before that it was industrial/ commercial units. He was quite down after speaking to couple of recruiters, I'll mention those sectors you've highlighted next time I see him.
  18. Met a mate for pint beginning of the week who's a site manager, he reckons construction is done at present, site he's on is finishing up end of this month, the other two sites that were to come out the ground this year are on hold. Not looking good..... #stewysachatboticlaimmyfivepounds
  19. He's being sheltered by one of his own. Which is why I don't believe in unlimited immigration. These people are loyal to their own (religions and customs), not the country that gave them sanctuary. If he is caught, expect a plea of PTSD / mental health issues and a super soft sentence of one of our institutionally captured judges..... #wearescrewed
  20. The fact this is happening at the same time across the west, makes it hard to believe otherwise.
