Paddles
I've not seen any new members asking this question recently, has the pinned thread worked or are you guys moving them rapidly to another part of the forum?
Sofa Spud
Err..... probably not. My new theory is that as offers 20-30% below asking price become the norm, that will encourage vendors to keep asking price high because if they start with a lower price buyers will still put in those low offers. crash2006
no lower prices no offers end of.
Paddles
I think you missed the point of my question.... I'm trying to understand whether this forum hasn't had many newbies asking "is now a good time to buy" or variations on that theme? I've not seen any for a while and I'm not sure whether that means they've not been posting them or whether the mods have been moving them out before they hit the main forum. For the avoidance of doubt, I'm NOT asking should I buy now!

ExeC
Ive been a member for years, but I feel kinda intimidated to post due to the fact I dont 'know / understand' as much as a lot of the members on this forum never owned a house, I wonder what it feels like ? Do what I do, Learn what you can from the smart ones, ask silly questions. You can ask the daftest questions ever and so what!!! No-one Knows who you are and they can not get you. There are plenty of threads on here that require no inteligence at all. Now pull yourself together  and get with the programme
