Just Heard This On The Bus....

Recommended Posts

On the way home from work...finished till 31st March :) ....a woman was chatting on her phone and I didn't pay any attention till she said the 3 magic words....Mortgage Equity Release :D

Anyway she's just MEWed 30k and is off to Australia on 2nd May. She's looking to rent her house in the next 4 weeks before she goes.

She seemed like an educated woman but for the love of god...why didn't she do her homework and research things a bit more. Templeton Robinson are trying to sell her house or get tenants...I just sat there cringing for her....she's in for a rude awakening

worst thing was she's interest only on the 30k MEW!!!!

Subby - there are some cretins out there - it really beggars belief. But the Banks have a lot to answer for too...

They are well aware there are people with no idea how to control their personal finances or the assessment of financial risk.

So you really have to ask why banks are allowed to imperil peoples future in this reckless way?
