Or do you think there should be no social housing unless you are British born? How would you implement that? Come on, I'm interested. ANDY If you read my signature you would see that I do not hate any foreigners, I married one (and she is not white). I have loads of immigrant friends - many of whom live in social housing. I think that immigrants should work here for 5 years before they get social housing (less time than most British workers have to wait for). If they need it before that then they can go home. At the moment in London there is vast discrimination against white anglo saxons, if you go to places like the world's end estate in Chelsea for example you will see very few white faces. Is it because no white people want social housing in central London ? I doubt it (I would have loved it before I could buy my own place). If I was to go to Australia to live, I would not get social housing. Why should immigrants get it here ? Personally I have no problems with foreigners coming here if :- 1) They do not break the law 2) Receive benefits 3) Need social housing 4) Worship a child abuser.
