Lambie Posted February 24, 2017 Share Posted February 24, 2017 I've noticed a distinct uptick in investment loss ambulance chasing adverts in the last few days - goodwinbarrett was one of them. This gave me a jolt as it's not something I've seen before - and on ITV so hitting the mainstream. I guess the PPI teat is nearly dry and lawyers need another ambulance to chase. Still, anything that subconsciously reinforces the idea that investments can go down as well as up and you might lose everything, is all gravy. I'm also quite enamoured to think of all the BTLers who will lose everything and spend their twilight years raging at a cloud demanding compo, while dribbling into a spoon. Is this a forward indication of a real shift in sentiment, a canary in the coal mine moment, or am I reading too much into it.. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

assetrichcashpoor Posted February 28, 2017 Share Posted February 28, 2017 A friend of mine works for one of them, probably the most well known and respectable one, although that's a very low bar. The comments she used to make about her clients were incredibly funny the term scrote came up numerous times in her Facebook posts. She's toned it down now.
