Quicken
Renting is all very well, and if older people could be sure of a secure tenancy maybe more would consider it. Say someone of 75, recently widowed, decides to move into a rental. 2 or 3 or 5 years later, when the person is that much older and maybe infirm or very much so, he or she is served with a notice to quit because LL wants to sell. As is said often enough on here, this is a huge hassle and expense even if you are young and fit. And not every old person would have anyone able or willing to help them. So I do understand why older people who are OOs would not jump at the idea of renting. Not saying this isn't true for older folk, but it simply isn't true on its own. I've moved 6 times since 2010, and that's in the horrendous Oxford rental market. Easy if you're organised.
