The Sovereign Support Grant, which will replace the Civil List in 2013, will give the monarchy a portion of the profits of the £6.6bn Crown Estate. While the Chancellor has announced a 14 per cent cut in Royal spending to £30m, there were reports last night that the Treasury is considering giving the Royal Household 15 per cent of the Crown Estate's profits, which would equate to £37.5m if it achieves its stated target of a £250m annual profit. Oh, I get it. Crown Estate portfolio still affected by low land values, big inflation coming, much easier planning permission for rural areas, big jump in land values, huge pay out for our lizard overlords. However, Royal sources have hinted that the grant could be capped at £30m, with a lower limit also set in case of a slump in Crown Estate profits. "Royal sources" have "hinted", "could be". No change to banksters bonuses or power 2. No change to our overall national debt 3. No change for those at the top of the economic tree Does anything ever really change in this country? It takes a world war or the threat of a revolution for the proportions to readjust for a generation or two, but then it's back to the default position. A Head of State that simply transfers powers, rights, property and priviledge from one generation to the other. Where the Monarch's Son is promoted to the equivalent of a General and awarded medals, just because of his birth right. Where the public hold the Monarchy in such high regard that they really would fight to preserve it. Elections are irrelevant for the Head of State as well and any attempt to change the Head of State is seen as an act of Treason. In fact we have exactly the same system as North Korea.
