If I may, in business the two things aren't connected. Just because you trade honestly does not mean you are more vulnerable to others trading dishonestly (there's always that chance whatever). What I see is that trading honestly over a long time builds up its own reward, as it attracts business. This is especially the case in food production where trust is really rather important, but it applies in any field. As for what happens if you're dishonest; well how much repeat business do you get; how many long term growing relationships do you form. DabHand Posted November 15, 2009 Share Posted November 15, 2009 Most people, in fact the absolute vast majority havent evolved much from what was required 500 years ago living in a simple village, ruled by the local despot, religon and the odd witch hunt to keep them entertained. This does not scale up to modern society, hence the mess today. It is the inability to only see things at a very simplistic level and never beyond that that is the failure not just of the average bod, but worse, nearly all our so called leaders. Monkeybrains!
