We supposedly drove over an economic cliff edge 7 years ago, cut ourselves off from the world and manufacturing was going to be eradicated from our green and pleasant land. And all of it has proven to be ********. Slice it and dice it however you like, but so far you remainers are wrong and I am right 🙂

Awww bless, dry your eyes mate 😂 I appreciate it is killing you, 7 years on since we allegedly drove the economy over a cliff edge and yet here we are, with that cliff edge still not even on the horizon. For 7 years we've been hearing from Minford Fanbois that manufacturing will be wiped out, yet here we are, the 9th largest manufacturing economy in the world. Little old isolated England, is proving not to be little or isolated at all and is doing quite nicely outside of the EU political union you crave to be a member of still. No matter how hard you wish Britain to fail, your fantasy is simply not happening. But don't worry, there is always viagra to get it up for you 🙂

English speaking aversion to density

GDP isn't a measure of wealth, it is just a measure of economic activity. GDP alone is a pretty appalling way to try and measure economic health and wealth. -

Do yourself a favour Winkie and just join the virtue signaling circle jerk, then all of these issues magically disappear -

Your personal snapshot of this moment in time will not necessarily be reflective of what things will be like with 100s of 1000s more living in high rise and owning an EV. -

That will work well with EVs. -
No, it has exposed how hooked we had become on worker exploitation and modern slavery.

Yep, there are many who were keen for the exploitation of eastern Europeans (and the subsequent knock on effects to local workers) to continue, to keep subsidising their personal cost of living. There are plenty on these selfish I'm All Right Jacks on this very board too. They are easy to spot, they are the ones who are still crying about and stamping their feet over losing FoM and calling anyone opposing it a waaaaaaycist.
