This may be a good example of the BBC wishing to correct its former HPI bias and tell it like it is. It will allow the public to see what they have been placing their trust in.

It is perhaps too much to hope that they will cover the Rightmove multi-million pound flats etc. that have been skewing the stats.

The poisons will all hatch out. :D

Sounds interesting. Does this mean that if I want a massive discount on a house, I should offer 2K to the estate agent as a backhander if s/he can get it for me at my desired price?

One wonders who is pulling the strings here. Ultimately the winners in the end will be the banks, the enlightened and the media holding onto the coat-tails.

Now time to sit back and enjoy the start of the drama that is unfolding.
