2024 will be party time compared to 2023. ✓✓

Party time for me would be build prices going down so we can actually afford to do the work to our house that we'd planned on when we bought it. Either that, or a larger house becoming available for cheaper.

Party time won't be if prices start to rocket again.

Well, except, if they rocket a lot then we can sell up and retire in Portugal. That might be party time.

Absolutely great place with all the crime around there.

My parents' first place in 1970s wasn't in a great place but they used that as a stepping stone, rather than expect to first-time-buy a four-bedder with a large garden like the kids do these days.

It’s absolutely lovely, a young girl had her face removed by an XL Bully just before Xmas.  It’s a quaint and charming area full of ‘salt of the earth’ characters.

No they don't, they expect to be able to buy a place before age of 35 close to where they work and where their family and friends live......that is why many who are able continue to live at home....not paying rent to a private landlord, what a waste is that to them.;)

We're a very small country. Most places are close to each other.

Not with our shit public transport and anti car policies.......we don't want anyone travelling anywhere.....forget the train station, better off living next to an airport or ferry port.;)
