At the ECB’s €1.3bn premises in the east end, police have erected barbed wire and barricades to keep the protesters at least 10 meters away. 1.3 Billion Euro's for a bloody building in a time of extreme austerity. wonderpup Posted March 18, 2015 Share Posted March 18, 2015 I had to visit the council offices of a sad run down town in the midlands recently and the contrast between the council buildings and the surrounding town was amazing- it looked like a futuristic spaceship had landed in the town center- all glass and steel and black marble.
