Cpi 1.7% Year To February

It's not necessary to have an official index to tell people about the price of food. For most popular stuff it's gone up at least 10 percent in the past few months probably nearer 15 per cent. Having said that there's often a huge difference between prices in different but similar supermarkets that tells the lie to their claims that it's because of their increased costs.

About two years ago 2 litres of milk at Morrisons cost £1 about 2 months ago cost 97P and I just went down to day and it was 84p

Their corn flakes are 31p for a large box and have been at that price for ages.

Food is cheap.
