enrieb
The United Nations has recently requested that a football tax be applied on all games, and football accessories such as shirts, boots, souvineers in order to combat climate change. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/dec/02/un-calls-for-football-tax What an interesting idea, perhaps we could have a higher rate of tax for goals scored/matches won by cheating. I would also like to take this opportunity to suggest a bullcrap tax. A tax on bullcrap, and whoever hereafter suggests a bullcrap political policy shall be taxed based on the amount of bullcrap in their policy. *bullcrap* was not my original choice of words, but the filter was very specific about my choice of words, after all there could be children and housing bulls reading. Also I was amused by the standard out of context footballer picture in the article, its one of those amusing football pictures of a player in an odd pose - with a vinegar stroke face, and if you were to edit the football out of the picture, the player would look like some sort of Hannibal Lector type mental case. Dubai
What about american football, or ice hockey, or baseball, or, God forbid... polo?
Frank Hovis
Whenever I hear any of these quite frankly bonkers ideas I always think of the Carry On films' SET or Sex Enjoyment Tax.
Johnny Storm
What a great idea. A tax on something no one has to have to live or work, but is a luxury, like smoking and drinking. The best tax ideas are always ones that other people pay
