Unfortunately this is one of those "too good to be true" changes it looks like they just changed the name of the easy access ISA product. For a bank to give you easy access when you took out a fixed rate product - now that would be rather special !

What letter ? When ? For any fixed ISA or just maybe very old ones at very low rates? I opened a 1 year fixed ISA a few months ago when they were giving out £50 vouchers.

AAh the North/South divide ... I was born in Preston, grew up there, worked at BAe and then left to work in Germany and then returned to the UK in the late 80s here in Bracknell. But honestly the North/South divide can be a chasm ! Bracknell has an oversupply of flats and houses being built right now with more to come.
