Me and the mrs are very lucky that she was a key figure in her company long before kids and they let her work her lunches to collect kids after school ( I did drop offs) and continue to work from home. When Covid hit her office closed so she was at home permanently & luckily i workd from home too so we both looked after kids school work etc It was chaos with us both being on calls etc kids running but good fun lol I saw the perks of this (flexibly with pickups, saved fuel etc) & switched to a new job just to be at home more / to help out & maintain calmness lol

If BTC hits 200K im expecting prices of the whole portfolio to put me in a position to sell 50% to pay off 1/2 to 3/4 of my 200K mortage… A property upgrade is really needed as our family has outgrown the size of it, but definitely want to hold as much BTC as possible for future. -

so does that mean she has to sell it into cash on her account for it to work.. or can she transfer it back to me near selling time and I sell it for her.. still qualifying for the allowance ? (She dosent have any crypto accounts setup) -

For those who have cashed out before heavily will it work out worse tax wise to dollar cost average out, instead of just selling one lump sum amount per coin -

Imagine the irony Bitcoin becomes the savior of the forum as it sucks up so much investment money that house prices fall back to affordability being a shelter for the family instead of an investment 😂 -

good point, so what’s the best way to ensure my kids are beneficiaries but I still have an asset to look after me in old age ? invest in other assets for them instead ? -

Just like all the other lost BTC No one is able to sell it so it holds BTCs value up -
My company treated me like shit during covid, which was silly considering I was one of thier strongest team members who didn’t need support all the time unlike other members of the team. We had Daily meetings on cam between the team that weren’t really needed, and it just gave the management an excuse to criticise / be nosy at your living space they put me onto a needy big account that required weekly video calling with an free app that didn’t allow me to blur the background (needed the full version for that) knowing I had my kids running around & mrs who’s always on calls working from home, within the same front room as me. Glad they pushed and pushed because within a month of me being back in the office permanently I ended up finding a new job working from home most of the week where the company love my work & give bonuses and decent pay rises. I will happily work hard for this new company to take business away from the old one mwooohahahhahhahahha
