It's because the text editor is now using a plugin called CKeditor

Technically when you type, it's via javascript inside an frame - Firefox spell checked only works with textarea's to my kn knoladge.

If the IT guys remove the line:

IPS_remove_plugins.push('scayt')

from ips_config.js then you will get the CKeditor SpellChjeckAsYouType plugin enabled.

So to answer your quistion - yes it's not working and no FireFox spell check is not going to work unless the text editor is swapped out.

Yep I've lost my spell check facility. The whole thing is a downgrade....even the format makes me feel dizzy.

I have motion sickness & a headache from the glaryness. Happens on a lot of sites but usually there are options to counteract it. None here now.

No spell checker may equal no posts from me. Can anybody give a work around.

Snap & no. There isn't one that we can access without the developers changing codes.

Such a sense of entitlement from some people. Can't you guys go back to school and learn to spell?

Why is it Fubra's responsibility to provide a spell checker?

:P

Tried that - didn't work.
