He jumped over the ticket barrier, Where did all that come from?

Yeh that seems to have been forgotten. I was under the impression they chased him onto the train and he was running hard, now they just seem to have cut to him sitting in the train.

Somebody quickly trying to cover his own **** on the ground said this. Ian Blair heard it too and spouted it off at a press conference before a proper investigation had been carried out. He deserved to go just for that.

Good point, but surely if the brain is completely dead, would there be any movement of any muscle ?

Thats why I think the reason for the multi shots, to make sure the brain is completely dead.

Mind you it doesnt work with chickens , they can run around with no head.

Aiming for the medulla oblongata.

Your sheer ignorance stuns me.

I hope you don't holiday or have relatives abroad. You seriously think that someone who is foreign doesn't deserve justice? or a warning before being executed?

You're basically saying anyone with a technical mistake on their passport or visa, or anyone accidentally overstaying a visa gives Britain a free license to murder (sorry lawfully kill) them without consequence.

Are you aware that Cressida Tit has stated in court this could happen again? Are you aware this means that if the British security services have trouble distinguishing between a suspect and a non-suspect that another non-terrorist could be executed again - this time might not be an olive skinned person, might be you - suggest you don't come to London or travel on the tubes if you fear for your safety.

Regardless of the legality or illegality of JCdM's visa (which we don't really know if this was another fabrication or not) someone's head needs to roll for this if only to make the police think twice before launching an operation like this again.

As for the media spin, lies and attempts to damage JCdMs reputation afterwards, in order to satisfy people such as yourself that you don't protest or demand an enquiry - simply shameful.

Surely you don't believe that JCdM was wearing a heavy winter coat, with protruding wires, sweating, jumping the ticket gate, was a rapist and drug user too? After all that is everything that the police and their rent-a-witness PR department have put out so far.

Are you comfortable with the fact that if you get mistaken for a terrorist whilst travelling pubic transport and are executed that the police WILL release a press report detailing how they found kiddie-porn on your laptop and that your family will have to sit through the smear campaing as they dig through your sordid history trying to find any occassion where you dropped litter or challenged a parking ticket to make you out into some kind of vile character that had it coming?

I'm not saying there aren't genuine police officers, and a need for police marksmen, but let's not pretend nor deceive ourselves that every cop is a shining medal of heroism, selflessness and morality. Former Police Chief Iain Blair should put that myth to doubt. We may not be in a police state just yet, but the police reliance on media and PR is disconcerting. I had my car broken into last year and one of the first questions asked by police over the phone (can't expect them to attend these days) was if I wanted it reporting to the local press - I was gobsmacked, I want crime investigated not spun!

===========================================================================

Yes, it was a depressingly bovine defence of a highly dubious event, wasn't it? Totally missing the issue of an obvious whitewash and police corruption and lies. It scarcely deserved your slightly more considered response.

I for one expected zero response as there is little you can do when the state stops a verdict being given. How can you win against that. It was very clear from the evidence that the jury would have given a verdict of unlawful killing as the police so clearly tried to interfere will the collection of evidence. I suspect that we will never know the truth and in everyones minds a guilty man was shot dead by a bunch of lying cops and the state interfered with justice.

Our Police are under tremendous pressure in this country, having to treat drunken thugs, educationless idiots and religious lunatics with 'respect' and lumbered with a government hell bent on destroying the fabric of our society in favour of politcal correctness and pandering to the 'rights' of everyone except our own citizens.

It is a tragedy this man was shot. However he was a foreign national in the UK illegaly and failed to stop when warned by armed police during an emergency brought about by a terrorist outrage caused by religious lunatics who DEFINITELY should not be in this country when there are plenty of other forsaken hell holes where they can practice their crazy so-called beliefs.

Perhaps those criticising the Police might want to go to Rio, where you can be attcked by armed thugs while the Police stand a few feet away and ignore you....you are after all a foreigner.....why should they intervene.....or Saudi, where the islamic police will blame you for any incident, road accident or problem...because you are a foreigner and if you hadn't been in their country, the incident wouldn't have happened!

Our Police are magnificent and operate under extreme pressure because of our corrupt Government and do-gooders who should go and try life in the countries of these people and groups they seek to defend - then they'd learn what freedom really is.

The police are not judge and jury. They arrest 'on suspicion' and the courts decide the guilt side of it. As they get it wrong so often, as this case demonstrates, 'respect' is vital to preserve the rights of the wrongly accused.

He did not fail to stop and he was not warned. Have you absorbed any of the information that has come to light from the inquest at all? :(

Exactly which group am I seeking to defend? Oh yes, now I remember, it's us. All of us. I prefer not to be shot without warning. In fact, I prefer not to be shot at all, but if I was, I would like to think that the perpetrators(s) would be punished.

But your statement is false. The Jury rejected the police claims that they called him to stop or even announced who they were? This man was legally working in the UK as an electrician and he was entitled to fair treatment....I can't see your point. Even if he was an illegal immigrant that doesn't give them the right to shoot to kill.

I'm not suggesting that the Police have the right to shoot to kill anyone.......but they may well have the duty to, to protect the public.....would anyone have bleated so much if they had shot Michael Ryan or the Dunblane gunman?

As I said, this man's shooting was a tragedy, and should not have happened. In this case both the Police and the poor unfortunate man were the victims of circumstances brought about by religious murderers representing and evil creed who should not be tolerated in this country (or any other civilised society).

As for the findings of the jury of any enquiry, you have to be joking! They will do as they are told and find what they are told to.

I would like to return to our police being unarmed, bu we've damaged our society by allowing so many lunatics demanding'respect' into our country, that I fear we will never return to an unarmed force.
