azogar
I am looking for a list of all UK registered banks/societies which have received money from the Gov./Taxpayer and how much they are estimated as to have received. Can anyone help me out please? Thanks. A lot have accessed the liquidity payments but in terms of which actual banks have been partly 'bought out', I think it is only Lloyds, HBOS and RBS. HSBC and Barclays said no. A&L is being taken over by Santander (Abbey), ditto B&B savings banking. Out of the BSs, there has been some consolidation eg. Derbyshire etc, being incorporated into Nationwide. ravedave
Icesave has gotten taxpayers money in order to fund the FSCS. NR was bailed out as well. Was getting flak earlier from people moaning about having to fund Icesave compensation and I was trying to figure out how many other concerns went to the well in order to fight back!!! thanks.
