Bri2
better to compare house prices to total money supply.... I was just wondering if a poor suffering punter cud suddenly find himself back in time in terms of his pension and home value.
Bri2
I have the stats, will graph up and post later if I get a chance. Not exciting though - house prices and FTSE are not corellated, there's no link (two different asset bubbles) and different things cause them to go up and down. They're both prone to taking a hit when confidence leaves the economy, that's about it. Thanks v. much. Look forward to it.

As it is there is going to be a large time lag before house prices reflect reality. No houses are changing hands because the reality hasn't sunk in.
