Time to raise the rents.
But I'm glad it's back. My wife thought I showed particular restraint by staying away from the computer today, she didn't realise the site was down of course! Time to raise the rents.
I've just had an error message all day & had to join Houe Price Chat to get my messages out somewhere. But nobody wanted to argue with me over there. It was very boring. The post I wanted to start with in the morning (you'll like this BBB): I mentioned a great book written in 1996 called the Death of Inflation on HPC yesterday. Reading through the chapter on HPI I found the following gem: In 1995, Professor Douglas Wood of Manchester Business School (sounds important doesn't he?) forecasts falls in British house prices of up to 30% in real terms over the next 20 years. Now I personally feel that being 9 years on from that prediction, it's reasonably safe to point out that he was wrong!
