Realistbear
Thats old news - they are way more expensive now. True, beach houses in Bournemouth area 180-220k last year. New owners may be wondering if they got caught up in the frenzy to "get in before someone else does?"
Portent
A couple of weeks ago I commented on a radio story I'd heard, regarding a garage in Chelsea selling for a record amount of money. I said it reminded me of the 80's boom and subsequent crash. I also recall hearing stories about expensive beach huts in the last boom. These kind of stories make me more convinced than ever that we really are on the brink of a downturn. It's all an echo of the last time.
