just say a recent recording of holby city and one doctor says to a patient who lostIt all during the financial collapse, they said,

do you know how much house prices have gone up in the last 3 years.

well, outside of London, not at all.

fictional drama being using to send out a message!!!!!

####### disgraceful.

Holby City is a fictional city, it's exterior is based around Bristol, while the interior filming is done at Elstree film studios in Hertfordshire.

Basically an open coded message from actors or show writers who can no longer afford a home in Hertfordshire. Possibly.

Oddly I think this programme seems to carry the government message of the day. Last week it had a scum Hmo landlord that had considered suicide because of his actions and the fact that he was skint. There is a large undercurrent of the damage that the high cost of housing creates at the moment. (Have to watch it as the good lady is addicted - honest!)
