libspero
I had no idea wellies were so ******ing expensive. I don't think I've ever spent more than £65 on a pair of shoes/boots let alone on bloody wellies. The ones suggested by liveinhope start at £29.95 if that helps.. onlyme2
Prefer rigger boots, Sometimes not quite so waterproof but v tough, very protective and most of the time more comfortable.
LiveinHope
The ones suggested by liveinhope start at £29.95 if that helps.. I have these, so far, very impressed. Look on Ebay. Might not be the best 'gumboot' for gardening, but excellent grip and comfort for 'out and about' country boots. But they are a heavier weight than Hunters, which apart from poor quality, also have very poor grip on mud if you want a walking welly - you'll be 'slip sliding away'. Hunters really were a stable yard boot, primarily.
