Venger
As a lifelong Conservative, I gave them the benefit of the doubt until it became obvious they had decided the peak of Labour's housing bubble is now a target to better. They even point out that there is no bubble as prices in some areas are still below the 2007 peak. We can only look after ourselves. At the end of it people make their own decisions. Those who look to Government statements to base their decisions on are deluded imo. Did they learn nothing in education. We make our own decisions. I would be less damning of what appears to be Conservative policy, if it's a pump and dump and spread positions out to yield chasers so when secondary bust comes it can be managable - but savers/capitalist sure already been bashed for over a decade vs the forever hpiers / QE/ 0.5% so I am losing hope. Osborne's parents decision was to downsize and accept an offer of £12.8 Million pounds for this house, in 2013. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2187292/Chancellors-parents-splash-new-10m-home--finding-buyer-old-15million-des-res-street.html http://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-prices/detailMatching.html?prop=38174381&sale=49730480&country=england

Stuff like that makes you wonder why the 99%-ers don't start protesting. Edited December 4, 2014 by TheCountOfNowhere
Snugglybear
Stuff like that makes you wonder why anyone voted tory in the first place. Stuff like that makes you wonder why the 99%-ers don't start protesting. Given the way the police treat protesters, I don't wonder in the slightest.
