Her exact words were "houses just arent moving". I am going to press my mum to get some more info however this phrase was like gold dust to me as it confirms my feelings outright and has made me happier after the recent onslaught of VI bile. Viewed a house yesterday...just thought if it looked great would put in a low offer. EA usual stuff,suggests -5K off 220K asking price. Me, you got to be joking mate and I give him my HPC verbal abuse, so that eventually as we were leaving the house he suggests I put in any offer I feel I could do and see what happens!!!!!!!! This market IMHO has no steam left, this time next year I might look again. Anyway, I think i am going to give them a call and say leave it for a few months, until we see which way the market is going. I'll let you know their action. Watch Builder stocks, and Gilt rates for an early clue of the slide's inception Dr Bubb, what's the easiest way to watch gilt rates? Who do you use?
