Prechter - Dow 3000

Recommended Posts

Did he say that he can see the low coming 'in the next 6 or 7 years'??!!! Prechter is an idiot.

I have had spells of getting very nervous before, but I am now starting to feel very panicky. Based on a few stories over the weekend, and now today's stories where Central bankers are now openly saying they want to inflate away debts, in my opinion, I think this marks the starting gun to a period of high inflation. I had been holding out for the Money Week/Hugh Hendry 'two years of deflation followed by a decade of inflation' scenario, but it now looks like we are going straight to inflation without passing Go.

I have saved a respectable deposit over the last few years, and I've been well aware of all the arguments for buying gold for the last 3 years, but I've always thought it was a bit stupid, and that its value was only based on some people's hope that a new gold standard would be introduced at some point.

I now think I might buy a substantial amount of gold..
