Thatcherschild
I have put a big bet on the man......by fixing my mortgage at 4.74% and hoping like hell that he's right about high inflation for the next few years at least
Dave Spart
Knowing what we know now, its hilarious watching so many pundits try humiliating Schiff. Where are they now?

Thatcherschild
Anyone else here taken precautions against massive inflation within the next 18 months? I reckon we'll see it kick off in the US in 6 months' time, by which time it will be too late to do anything about it in the UK

Thatcherschild
Right about the crisis but wrong about investmentsShame his clients still wound up losing money. http://www.usnews.com/blogs/the-ticker/200...-investing.html Time will tell. His timing might be wrong, but he has consistemtly talked more sense than every other economist I have researched. The article you have posted a link to is biased - Schiff argues that there will be high inflation, not hyperinflation, although he accepts that this could be the worst-case-scenario. When the bond market fails, it will just be a case of waiting a short while for his other predictions to become reality
