I come to the UK quite often and, actually, present day Italy seems better than present day Britain. Which is worrying.But hey, that's what you got for electing Brown - I guess he's the only prime minister that can be even more embarassing than Berlusconi. As someone who visits Italy as often as they can, I concur. Although my Italian language skills mainly consist of asking for food and then saying how nice it is, so I don't really have my finger on the pulse of the nation when I travel around!
