  1. If it hasn't been done already I think somebody needs to snap shot the pages before they are changed. I would but can't host them.
  2. I'm confused!! That's exactly the same as the one on page 3, but mine doesnt work. Am I doing something wrong?
  3. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-105...pa_n=1&tr_t=buy Was that at £110M or something silly before?
  4. I wonder if anybody can help me. From what I have read on this site house prices have already started to fall (albeit not by much yet). I read somewhere on here recently that prices had fallen in all 58 areas of England bar 3. One was Central London, one was West Yorkshire and I'm not sure what the last one was. Today I was having a discussion with people at work and they reckon the BBC have said house prices went up 6% last year. They asked what my source was for them going down but I can’t find the post on here again. Being the BBC they obviously believe everything they say. Does anybody have data to show a fall in prices that I can show them? Thanks Fred
  5. I find myself trying to explain to friends why there will be a house price crash, but usually not very well. What would your top 5 points be when explaining it to somebody? Somethning like the SIPP's turnaround could be one for example.
  6. mmmm, Kind of goes against (or at least delays) most of the things said on here about FTB's
  7. I was speaking to my god parent lastnight and he says that on April the 1st (I think that was it) people will be allowed to put money from their pensions into a house to rent out tax free. Is this true? If so how will that affect house prices? (as lost of people will be wanting to buy houses around 100K) ps. A did a search on the forum for this but could not find anything.
  8. Hi, I'm currently thinking about buying my first house with my partner but the only houses we can safely afford are houses that we basically would NOT want to live in. We have a joint income of 41k and would only fancy a 100K mortgage incase interest rates went silly. For our area that is an above average income (for 20 year olds anyway) so it makes me wonder how on earth people are going to buy houses!!! Its like £105,000 for a beat up house in an area where you have horses wondering around the streets (you know the areas I mean). Even though we don't want to live like that we had kind of resigned to the fact we would have too! Anyway after reading this site I have decided to give it a year and see what happens. I would wait longer but we could do with a house and I don't fancy paying £600pm rent for something I don't own! Thanks for the info on here people!!!!!!
