SP & Funn3r Crossborder Capital focus on the direction and rate of change of liquidity flows (but not sure how they measure liquidity) - helping investors to unravel where liquidity is going and how to benefit from it. Follow the money ..... Global central banks just can’t stop printing money. (CBTOTL is a custom index of the FED, ECB, PBOC, BOE, and BOJ.) The Fed’s balance sheet stopped expanding in 2014, and there was a rough patch until a combination of a softer USD, combined with other central bank QE, drove risk assets higher. The S&P 500 has risen from sub-1000 in the crisis all the way to 2500+ today, riding a wave of unprecedented liquidity. With the Fed targeting tapering and the ECB slowing its QE, will the wave break? https://www.realvision.com/landing/weekly-hack-20-10-17-follow-the-money

Uber ban in London. London living in the past?
duckwomanloulou replied to reddog's topic in House prices and the economy
“This is a very terrible thing,” said Syed Khalil, 39, a father of four from Dagenham who has been an Uber driver since 2013. “I am so worried. I have a £360 a month car hire agreement. I really don’t know whether I will be able to keep the car.” https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/sep/22/uber-drivers-london-warn-financial-ruin-thousands-families How many other London Uber drivers have PCP deals that won't be able to service the loan? -
It is too easy to pin gold’s rise on geopolitical events. Instead, argues Currie, these events are only really impacting gold if they lead to ‘actual currency debasement.’ Instead, the recent rally has been down to the decline in the U.S. dollar and lower real interest rates. http://uschnews.com/physical-gold-in-vault-is-true-hedge-of-last-resort-goldman-sachs/ Haven't posted for a long time but wanted to thank you DurhamBorn for this thread and share this link.
