GDP preview: Is the UK heading for a triple-dip?

GDP: UK economy likely to have shrunk by 0.2% in 4th quarter

On Friday, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) publishes its first estimate of GDP for the fourth quarter of 2012. The data is likely to show that the UK economy shrank by 0.2 per cent in the final three months of last year adding to the pressure on George Osborne to come up with a credible growth strategy to try and influence the UK economy in 2013.

  • The UK economy shrank by 0.3% in the last three months of 2012 says the BBC at lunchtime.

“Maybe George needs help with the supply side economics” quips Farage.

  • Who really cares if we ‘triple dip’ or not? We live here & know what its like around us. Bouncing around zero% growth is hardly worthy of a news story every time the zero level is crossed in either direction.
Its shi*, has been shi*, and is getting shi*ter all the time. People can do nothing because there is no genuine democratic representation in Government & Government could do nothing anyway, because they are generally put there by the VI’s the made it shi* in the first place.

Don’t need a weather man to know which way the wind blows.
