Teddy Bear Posted August 17, 2004 Share Posted August 17, 2004 Viewers outside of London might not of seen the separate issue of flooding on London roads in particular the busy North Circular caused by homeowners on the route(s) concreting over their front gardens to create their own parking space. By doing this heavy rain had nowhere to drain but As London tonight pointed out there was a perfectly sensible compromise available by covering only the amount needed to accommodate a car leaving the rest as garden. Apart from anything else it looked so much nicer. And what was Kirsty contribution to this? "Build more car parks!". Thanks Kirsty, you Thatcherite Petrol head.
