ReggiePerrin
Headline from report "Asking prices for prime property rise again in the face of continuing economic uncertainty, as the mainstream market stagnates." http://media.primelocation.com/content/pri...ndex_200802.pdf Not sure if this has been posted already? But as the figures on the HPC mainpage are for Jan 08....
hostman
Asking prices only I believe? Also Prime Location is predominately London, so not surprising if they show no movement and even gains.
refusnik
Price of properties can only go down.
Son of Taeper
Headline from report"Asking prices for prime property rise again in the face of continuing economic uncertainty, as the mainstream market stagnates." http://media.primelocation.com/content/pri...ndex_200802.pdf Not sure if this has been posted already? But as the figures on the HPC mainpage are for Jan 08.... I spent a lot of time over the last 3 days plotting data on Primelocation, rightmove, Halifax Naationwide ,landreg, etc. I stuck it all together in a spreadsheet and logged all the hpi's etc and the combined data appeared to come out @ falling house price inflation across the board for the last 6 months. To my mind, in 6 months the combined data will read hpi @ -2%. Yep, Minus 2%. The likes of primelocation can say what they like about hpi, they log asking price, not sale price, but even taking this into account the trend has been down for the last 6 months. That would fit in well with the postponed fuel increase due Sept 08. I reckon July 08 will paint a different picture and we won't get a fuel increase
