Interesting to hear Stephen Pound mentioned. I once spent a very, very interesting night with him in the House of Commons. Whisky was involved. Incredibly charismatic man. Impartial Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 I can't understand why people can't get their heads around the idea that if you taxed BTL heavily - to the point of making it just not viable - no new BTL investors would join the market and a lot of existing ones would sell up.
