Impartial Posted July 25, 2006 Share Posted July 25, 2006 I keep reding articles about the gold bull run kicking off. I was hoping to buy a substancial amount at about $550 oz. Does this seem likely before september as i believe the run will really kick off this Autumn when the dollar depreciates. Is anyone out there still buying gold at these current rates? Van Posted July 25, 2006 Share Posted July 25, 2006 Do some research about the Gold/Dow ratio. It topped at an amazing 45:1 in 2001. currently it is about 20:1. If history repeats itself and the Ratio reaches the other extreme in 5-10 years' time, it is not impossible that we could see gold 10 times higher at $5000+/oz.
