Just checked out tonights listings and I think we have an interesting night of viewing ahead. On Channel4 we have...

'Grand Designs' - Series following householders on a mission to re-design their homes. In order to downsize from their Edwardian manor house, Peter and Christine Benjamin have decided to build a small retirement home within their walled garden. This is a downward cycle being portrayed by the media. Great.

It also is a double edged sword with a returning market of people at the same level of buying trying to interact.

It will pervert the market and show gains on the official stats.

But it's in a downward cycle and it'll continue with prices. May be they're being encouraged to buy the problem BTL property.

Interesting times ahead.
