Bricks n' mortar
When I read the thread title, I thought maybe everyone was getting a 'pod', with a curtain round it for privacy, just big enough for a bed, a cabinet, some hifi. And meals from a communal kitchen. Instead, I found a shanty-town. Getting round the building regulations by calling themselves a temporary event. Hardly a solution to the housing crisis. Saving For a Space Ship
With respect, I feel your being a bit harsh there. A lot of thought and work had gone into those structures, it was not a thrown up shanty town To get anything different or experimental made theses days you need a work around the rules made by the housing mafia VI's. I don't think there were any great claims to solve the housing criris Get people together to build, create and experiment , thinking outside the box, is often positive, I wish there was more of it, hence my post Edited March 19, 2018 by Saving For a Space Ship
