LiveinHope
It probably did get the odd dandelion as it used to roam the lawn. I think that was how it was eventually 'lost', or rather, made its bid for freedom though the neighbour's hedge. In those days, not many people had much knowledge of tortoises, and they were two a penny.
frozen_out
Delicious. Once upon a time, I arrived near Bonn for a three day event. Had booked a room in a small guest house: basically a pub with rooms. Arrived the evening before, went downstairs for an evening meal. Those mushrooms turned out to be speciality of the house: the menu had two pages of main course, about 6-8 dishes on each page, and one page was exclusively menus centred on those mushrooms. I enjoyed them hugely with a pint of dunkelweizen. Can't beat a pint of the dunkles. I prefer it to Weizen itself.
