If the facts in this story are true, the nation is in a sorry state. There is one woman who clearly doesnt have any motive to work in the world. I wonder if she owns the £350,000 house, if not, who does, that wasnt clear? 40 Grand a year for not working. Someone who is working really does need to lose their job over this. Do you think a Sun reporter came up to her and said "We're going to write an outraged article about how much you receive in benefits and how it should be stopped for sick trips to the funeral. Would you mind giving us some details please?" I don't. I reckon they said something along the lines of: "Our readers would love to hear about your trip to the funeral and will want to hear your side of it." ... and then later "We also need some background details just to flesh out the story."
