If it's any consolation a lot of people initially dismiss it. Michael Saylor did and so did Pomp. I think you need an open and curious, questioning mind to dig in when you first hear of it. I think you'd find the Raoul Pal and Pomp interview linked above by myself and @Buffer Bear interesting as they going into alts and what they discuss makes sense and aligns with my own opinions.
