  1. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/02/02/trusting-people-do-right-thing-saved-lives-covid-lockdowns/ Covid lockdowns did more harm than good, major study finds. Restrictions prevented only 0.2 per cent of deaths in first wave, study finds as researchers call for curbs to be rejected as future policy.
  2. From the link: Myocarditis is a non-serious, minor condition? For detractors who think myocarditis is no big deal and most cases are "mild," consider a TYPICAL case of myocarditis (regardless of the cause): 1) 3-6 months of limited physical activity. No sports or athletic competition. Even carrying heavy textbooks and walking up stairs can be prohibited. 2) Being placed on medications such as beta-blockers or ACE inhibitors that can have negative side effects 3) Scars in heart region visible on an MRI scan 4) Life-long risk of cardiac complications So, yes most cases of myocarditis from the vaccine will be relatively "mild" compared to a “serious” case (heart failure or death) — just like chronic depression is relatively "mild" compared to schizophrenia. Thanks - a very interesting perspective.
  3. Well I agree that there is nanotechnology in mRNA vaccines. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0378517321003914 It's the interpretation of the microscope images I'm not so sure about. The mRNA vaccines are delicate. What might these materials do when they start to break down? I'm thinking of effects like crystalline growth https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystal_growth Should we be injecting this stuff into ourselves? I have some doubts. Should we entertain conspiracies about "circuitry" and "chips" in the vaccines? I have my doubts. The secretive habits of the big pharmacological companies doesn't help much either. https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/wait-what-fda-wants-55-years-process-foia-request-over-vaccine-data-2021-11-18/
  4. Because the vaccine protection is time limited and successive boosters seem to offer diminishing returns. https://alexberenson.substack.com/p/israel-is-overrun-with-covid-the/comments
  5. I downloaded the CSV from https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/deaths According to my spreadsheet, the average deaths from the ONS over the last month is just over 144 a day. The definition of the data is given as "Weekly number of deaths of people whose death certificate mentioned COVID-19 as one of the causes" so some of those will be people near the end who were just helped alomg by the virus. OK, we don't know stuff about the virus but I'm not sure what your point is. Are you just saying "watch out!" or is there some course of action you want to see happen?
  6. Well the video presenters seem to be asserting that they've found graphine compounds in the Cansino, Pfizer, Astrazeneca, Sinopharm and Sputnik vaccines. If we are to entertain that is a nefarious act by the vaccine makers, then we're looking at a global conspiracy involving the Western world, Russia and China. Seriously? I don't think so.
  7. Wot!! I have never said anything about MERS or SARS coming from a lab - quite the opposite in fact. Regarding the links you provided, the WHO investigation into the origins of sars-cov-2 was recognised as being compromised a long time ago. https://www.bmj.com/content/375/bmj.n2414 I'll be happy to change my mind if solid evidence is found but for now I think the virus is far more likely to be a lab product than zoonotic. OK, so you think Dr Geert Vanden Bossche is wrong. I trust that this has nothing to do with the fact that he is an opponent of mass vaccination against sars-cov-2 ? $$$$$ https://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/242348-covid-is-there-trouble-ahead-new-mutation-and-travel-bans/&do=findComment&comment=1103804754
  8. I think there may be a problem with your idea. If you do arrange for a properly infectious party, you will not be able to control your viral load and that *might* have bad consequences. I'm pretty relaxed about getting omicron (it's inevitable) but I don't want to get a heavy load of any derivative of the Wuhan lab virus. Even if I was in my twenties I wouldn't do it. https://voiceforscienceandsolidarity.substack.com/p/the-way-out
  9. Your fondness for anecdotal 'evidence' has been noted here before. I heard about it from a guy in a pub ... 🙄
  10. Only a few days ago, I received a phone call on my mobile from an NHS representative to enquire if I would get my booster. I declined. I was asked why. The conversation was polite but it was clear that I was being contacted for non-compliance. https://www.ft.com/content/b809c6e5-baa5-43d2-b666-6067d90ad3ed Can our leaders admit that they've invested in something that's probably a bad idea?
  11. The acid test will be China. https://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/covid-19-coronavirus-omicron-chinas-covid-zero-policy-is-floundering-against-omicron/SBZ67J64QZHQX352NE6D2ISYH4/ https://spectator.com.au/2022/01/chinas-zero-covid-policy-is-becoming-unsustainable/
  12. That's unreasonable to the level of being unhinged. Please moderate your language.
  13. So your big pharma employer has already prepared the way for the next "Operation Warp Speed"? That's quite a bold assertion. Thanks for letting us know.
  14. A quite interesting macroeconomic analysis from article from eurasiagroup: https://www.eurasiagroup.net/live-post/top-risks-2022-1-No-zero-Covid Their thesis is that the Chinese zero-Covid lockdown strategy will create global economic problems when Omicron or other highly infectious strains start breaking out across China.
  15. Wow. Just before 6th January. Stay the f*** away from these 'direct action' idiots. Nothing good will come from this.
  16. I'm not sure why you would say it's "brain vomit". The evidence coming in suggests that's exactly what it is (for now.) That's the way humans have responded to viral outbreaks since the dawn of humanity - long before vaccines were a thing. Perhaps there'll be another significant mutation down the road; in fact if we try mass vaccinations with a new vaccine that targets Omicron, that's pretty much guaranteed.
  17. On 8th December, Stephen Kissler was hypothesizing that Omicron didn't affect South Africa so badly because many South Africans had recently been infected with Delta and had acquired some immunity to Omicron. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caryWC6JAkc The problem is that theory isn't panning out. Delta infection does not protect against Omicron. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYLbJ0H8zdc More commentary here: https://alexberenson.substack.com/p/remember-how-they-said-omicron-wasnt "Omicron is less dangerous if you’ve been infected before, and less dangerous if you haven’t. It’s less dangerous if you’re fat, and less dangerous if you’re thin. It’s less dangerous if you’re old, less dangerous if you’re middle-aged, and less dangerous (as in probably so not-dangerous its dangers can’t even be measured) if you’re young. It’s a cold. The only risk it represents is that our massive testing infrastructure is now disrupting society. If we made everyone with a cold test and quarantine during the winter, we’d have lots of unnecessary economic, educational, and medical pain too." "Still not the flu." The Wuhan SARS-CoV-2 virus from 2019 is not the same as Omicron. We should be re-evaluating what we're dealing with now - not what happened a year or so ago. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/dec/28/omicron-is-not-the-same-disease-as-earlier-covid-waves-says-uk-scientist
  18. There's more to it than masks. UK national borrowing for covid is estimated at £4,700 to £6,067 per person depending upon who estimate you use. ( https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cbp-9309/ ) Millions of routine healthcare processes have been missed resulting in a backlog and avoidable deaths. ( https://www.health.org.uk/news-and-comment/charts-and-infographics/elective-care-how-has-covid-19-affected-the-waiting-list ) We're going to be impacted for years and need to choose what we do next carefully.
  19. Well there's at least one viroligist that says that. https://voiceforscienceandsolidarity.substack.com/p/second-call-to-who-please-dont-vaccinate
  20. Why do you think it's misinformation? The current data suggests Omicron behaves like a cold. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/dec/28/omicron-is-not-the-same-disease-as-earlier-covid-waves-says-uk-scientist If the data changes, we should reassess what we're doing.
  21. The direction of the mutation is quite straightforward. It's a cold. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/dec/28/omicron-is-not-the-same-disease-as-earlier-covid-waves-says-uk-scientist
  22. "But if TOTAL admissions over the same period were 5,000. Who cares, it doesn't shift the dial on overall admissions." That's the point I was making when I referenced https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/healthcare I agree overall admission rates are nothing special, so far, which raises the question of what Monsieur's graph signifies.
