The three pillars of newcastle are eroding - labour funding (67% regional GDP from the public sector), easy credit (NR 125% credit), and southern buy to let investors (eedjits who think the west end is a cheap investment)......

The last recession did'nt really hurt too much cos no one was working or owned much anyway. This was one is going to hurt like hell. Geordies are tough and resilient though and will continue to party come what may.
